    100 fights what an eventful career. I heard that he will be inducted to the aussie hall of fame this year well deserving

    He fought in 13 divisions, starting out at 8 stone 10lbs and finishing up at 14 stone 10lbs.

    His titles include:

    NSW Welterweight Champion,
    Australasian Light Middleweight Champion,
    Australian Junior Middleweight Champion,
    Australian Middleweight Champion,
    Commonwealth (British Empire) Middleweight Champion,
    Australian Super-Middleweight Champion,
    Australian Light-Heavyweight Champion and Oriental Middleweight Champion.

    In the 80's at the tail end of Wally's career he was fighting some fella and couldn't lay much leather on him. During one of the rounds someone from the crowd yelled "go on, hit him Wally". Wally yelled back "I can't. he won't let me". I'm sure even his opponent got a bit of a chuckle out of that one :D
