I heard last week that they are parting ways from frank. I dont no whether its them thats leavin or if its frank who doesnt want to work with them anymore. I dont even know if its correct info. Its of particular note that VIP Promotions won purse bids for walsh v lowe. Has anyone anymore information as to whats going on with liam & ryan walsh.
I'd seen a post on here claiming liam was fighting december against Craig Evans but haven't seen anything anywhere else. I'd noticed and was surprised VIP won Lowe v ryan purse bid.
They never got much attention from Frank they were always inactive and fighting poor opponents I mean how long did Frank keep Liam at domestic level and then all of a sudden his in a world title fight the gap is huge between domestic and work level and it showed when he fought for the title OK Frank did OK with Ryan getting him a British title outright and a European title shot
Theres nothing on boxrec to say hes fighting anyone. Liam missed a lot of fights through 'injuries'. I put it in commas because at one time, when he was coming through domestic level, he had a name for himself for pulling out at the slightest excuse. I remember he pulled out on gary sykes 3 times alone. Things like this p*ss promoters off and i always got the impression thats why the walshs and especialy liam was moved on like they were
If lowe wins he might as he’s already mentioned him on ifl Can’t see Lowe getting a shot at the likes of frampton Selby or Warrington
He won't get a shot at them lads but he will have a voluntary defence and doubt very much they wud pick a unbeaten prospect.
