So Chagaev will fight Haye after Valuev hands that one his title for a big brown envelope under the table ? Then we will finally really see Chagaev fight a real HW contender. Unless of course he pulls out of that one for contract issue ("he called the contract i gave him a slavery contract, boooohoooo!").

    Chagaev is #1
Ruiz is STILL the Official Challenger
Meehan drops from #1 to #3

Meehan just keeps getting screwed by the WBA, he deserves his shot. The WBA eternal recycling of Valuev, Ruiz and Chagaev goes on and on.

He's a paper champion, he never beat the real WBA champ....his team had to stage the fight in Finland where he could get away with ducking out citing the advice of uninformed medical supervisors and a 2nd rate boxing commission. Hell he even ducked out of fighting his #1 contender that was scheduled on the same card and ready to go.

Yeah what a champion Valuev is.

Why does Meehan deserve shot for the title?

Because his recent resume is better than Ruiz+Chagaev combined.
