I'd like to think it was just a case of Lillis knowing Khurtsidze was a colourful character and trying to capture that on camera but the way he went about it was crass, to the point of making me feel protective towards Khurtsidze. I've got nothing against Langford but I'm glad it went down the way it did... there's your fu*king show. On top of that, Billy Joe's nasty little post-fight tirade made me want to see him go the same way. Saunders is one of the most underrated fighters around, brilliant when he's at his best, but he looks like he hasn't seen the inside of a gym since Akavov mugged him. As good a trainer as Adam Booth is, he's not going to make any realistic difference in one fight. He might come up with the right game plan and say all the right things in the corner but if Saunders half-arses his camp and comes in thinking he can walk Khurtsidze then it wouldn't be a shock seeing him getting clattered to the point that not even home cooked scoring could save him. Then it would be onto a nice earner in Golovkin for Khurtsidze... I'd like to see that play out for him because he seemed like the only nice guy in a sea of pricks on his first visit to the UK.
