Ward > Ali

  1. Seriously y'all Ali was a great fighter and all but Ward would adjust, get inside and destroy.

    Ward 118–110

    118-109 Ward.

One slick knockdown in the 3rd or 4th round.

    Ward is one boring mofo.

I know this is a troll thread, but here are some thoughts:

Ward isn't remotely close to being the infighter Frazier was. Frazier had a more fluid offense, more destructive offense, and worked his way inside less sloppily with his head/upper body movement coupled with his front-foot footwork.

Even if they were the same size naturally, Ali's movement, left jab, and distance control would keep Ward from acheiving anything on the outside. The speed would be overwhelming and Ward's defensive mistakes and openings he gives would be exploited pretty damn well. And when Ward does get in close, Ali had the physical strength and wherewithal to tie him up effectively and force him to reset.

Ward's probably going to wind up a hall of famer and one of the H2H greats around his division (albeit not top class like a Spinks at 175, Foster at 175, Jones at 168, etc.), but prime Ali was a flat-out more effective and superior H2H fighter than anybody fighting today. None of this "K2 brothers beat him" BS, please.

Ward may be the best p4p fighter but nobody knows who the f-ck he is

N1gga hides out in his home town and only fights there

  13. Ward would be like Norton.

    Only better.

Ward can adapt to any style and completely nullify you.

    He gets inside easy.

    Ward is the best ever
