Ward doesn't need Kovalev

    Ward is the A side, he won Super6, he fights whoever he wants whenever he wants. He earned it. Beside, who has Kovalev beaten? A bunch of old people and nobodies. It's Kovalev who needs this fight, not Ward

    Its odd but it does seem that unless I am missing announcements that lately I dont think Wards fights have been confirmed until late on.
    Smith I think was around 2 months
    Barrera I think was a bit less
    Brand I think was also less than 2 months
    They to my knowledge all seem very short notice
    I have thought this with Wilder also but may have missed announcements

    Maybe the Kovalev fight wont be confirmed until around 6/7 weeks before the fight for some reason?
