Ward is a dirty fighter and something needs to be done about it but him being an American it won't unless another more marketable American fighter comes along as a potential opponent. That said Kovalev didn't perform well and didn't look the better fighter in there yesterday. Ward also did plenty of legit work too. This doesn't change the fact that in most people's eyes he got a gift the first time round and a dubious stoppage here. Lots of good fights for both at 175, let's hope they happen.

Floyd was just as dirty man, come on LOL. Elbow, forearm smashes, sucker punched countless opponents (Ortiz, Gatti, Mosley ) just to name a few, and excessive clinching. Floyd and Ward have something in common though, both had the strangest, dirtiest, most controversial kos in boxing history. But I gotta say, getting a TKO for smashing someone in the nut sack takes the cake. Ward should be called the Krusher, I mean Crusher now.
