Disappointing news, another Super 6 fight held up by injury.

Ward's knee is giving him problems, the story is on the ESB Homepage.

It's a shame, things like this were inevitable i guess, they just put a little dumper on the tourney.

This is a very intriguing fight btw, Ward is in for a tough fight here IMO, although Green has that foot issue.

I agree, i mentioned in a post i made the other day about Ward that i think he's the best super middleweight in the world and i expect him to win the Super 6, but i have a feeling this Green fight may be the most dangerous for him.

I think he'll come through but its a very very difficult fight IMO

I think the fighters will have retired before we get a winner of the super 6.

Goosen's pulled him by the looks. He should be back to fight by early June. I know when PK did the thread about when is the tournament gonna end i think we all thought he was just taking **** but seriously this thing could go on for way longer then planned. It's a shame but i suppose what can you expect...**** happens as they say.

I think you might be right, you can't blame Goosen i suppose if he has. I think its fair to say if HBO hadn't deliberately thrown Arreola-Adamek on the same night to **** Showtime over this fight would probably be going ahead.

I don't think any of us deep down thought this whole tournament would go smoothly without problems. Maybe it will take a bit longer than planned but still great for the sport.

Yep it is. And i can forgive injuries in this tournament because fight's are much closer together and fighters are gonna have to fight and if they don't they exit the tournament and we will know what there all about. It's a true test of the best.
