Would Ward win against Calzaghe in a fight on neutral ground, where he was not allowed to headbutt when pressed as he did in the Kessler fight?

Two pure purists against each others?

Super Joe would defeat Ward handily on NEUTRAL ground with legitimate neutral judges. No doubt. We already saw how Joe beats dirty fighters in a better version of Ward in Hopkins.

If the fight was held in Vegas nowadays… we’d see similar to the filth we saw last night with Loma not awarded an earned victory.

Are you looking of opinions or are you looking for people to validate your opinion ?

Joe would beat Ward on neutral turf. He was the better overall fighter.

The gentle flurries of Calzaghe prevail once again.

I would favor Calzaghe. Neither had power to KO each other so this would go the distance. Calzaghe's superior foot speed, hand speed and sheer activity would give him the UD.

Ward would do his best to frustrate but Calzaghe would be too sharp and snappy for Ward.

Very good fight. I disagree with the poster above who said Calzaghe was just better; I think both were at a similar, elite level. But, stylistically I think I lean to Joe as he might just outwork Ward.

It would be an ugly close fight just like Hopkins/Calzaghe.

Ward would fight the same dirty fight Hopkins fought , Joe would grind out the same result via engine and heart imo .
