    What other matches can be made today that can = that of the fight above. I'm talking action packed from begining to end. Please NO MAY AND PAC i want other fights that can be exciting!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well you'd have to find two fighters with good chins and stamina, but lacking in the defense department. One would have to be a boxer/puncher and the other a pressure fighter.

    Cotto vs Margarito or Pacquiao II could be great as long as Cotto doesn't run too much

    Maidana-Mattysse, Gamboa-Lopez, really it takes two mentally and physically tough guys that can overcome getting hurt or knockeddown and comeback. Also fights of the year are typically between two guys who are flawed defensively and a bit wreckless offensively. Mayweather, Wladamir, Hopkins, guys that are usually safety first and take few chances are almost never involved in fights of the year. They may be the class of boxing, but the Gattis and Corrales, guys like that are the heart and soul of the sport...and the ones that never dissapoint the fans.

    Once he gets back in shape and ready to fight, I would love to see a Sergio Martinez v. James Kirkland fight.
