This fight up at Light Heavy. Ward like to sit on his man's chest all night and I feel Hopkins could deal with this better than Dawson. The styles will Make for a real messy and boring fight, but interestingly I don't think this has been discussed Who would you take?
Hopkins doesn't have the gas tank or offensive arsenal to keep up with Ward anymore. Nor does he have the legs to stay away and pot-shot. It'd be a competitive fight for about 4-5 rounds before Ward takes full command and cruises to a decision. Put in a younger Hopkins, though, and he'd show his superiority over Ward.
You should do a poll At this stage, Ward easily. A couple of years ago would have been real hard to call
you'd need to really go back 10 years for a Bhop that could beat prime Ward. Even in his early forties, no way is Bernard going to keep the pressure up to win a 12 round match against a guy who isnt as easily duped as Pascal and Pavlik.
