Who have you got iv seen both guys fight and im going to go against the Grain i think Ward will upset Kessler, Kessler is just jab-right hand and he had trouble with Calzaghes speed and couldnt adapt when Calzaghe adapted and pulled away to win, Not saying Ward is as good as Calzaghe but he does have speed and a bit more versatility and i believe that might be the difference.

Wards handspeed is about the same speed as Taylors. Mundine had faster handspeed, Calzaghe by a mile.

Calzaghe is better on every level over Ward, and it cannot be used as any sign of proof.

Ward and Mundine are completely comparable as fighters. I would even venture to say that Mundine if he came in any where near the shape he was against Danny Green in their most recent fight would beat Ward.

Ward has a questionable chin combined with an over reliance on his handspeed. He's not fought any fighter with timing yet and this will be the reason he gets hit all night by Kessler.

I honestly think the key to beating Kessler is out-boxing him from the outside, because he doesn't seem to be able to do a hell of a lot to stop it if you're able to get your jab in before him.

Unfortunately for 99% of fighters, getting your jab in before him is impossible.

Ward is hitting his peak/prime at the right time. He will pull off the upset.

Kessler on points in a much harder fight than he anticipated. OOh, I can't wait.

Definitely, because they both are serious technical boxers. Ward is a little slicker, Kessler a little more powerful. Still, they aren't such polar opposites like Dirrell and Froch, who really were destine to not impress unless one chose to fight and outdo the other in the other's style. Dirrell could have won had he chose to trade with Froch in the second half. He hurt him in the eleventh, but continued with his slip n slide n whine tactics as if at putting Froch's butt at least once wasn't necessary.

Its been my opinion for awhile that Ward will win. Cards will look be around the 8-4 area.

For the gazillionsth time, Kessler adapted well until he got tired and started taking rounds off. In the last round he did exactly what he was supposed to. adapting had nothing to do with it.
