This would have been a good scrap. But I don't think it will happen any time soon.

It should have been Itauma instead of Hrgovic.

    But he gassed out.

Let it happen if Wardley beats Dubois in the rematch. Could be the big HW slugfest of the era.

More chin than China town in that ring.

I highly doubt Wardley beats Dubois. I can see this fight happening if Hrgovic loses his next fight or loses an eventual rematch vs Dubois. If Wardley isn't ruined by then.

Yeah I've got Dubois winning again too. But who's to say Hrgovic doesn't choose him anyway ?

We live in a reality where Usyk and Fury fought non Boxers with titles on the line. Stranger things have happened.

As someone who predicted the Hrgovic-Itauma fight correctly and who is a fan of Hrgovic, I will say that Wardley (Parker fight) would probably win.

"But Dubois destroyed Wardley with his superior boxing. " I guess that's partially true, but I felt what really won that fight was Dubois' defense, which basically just consisted of his fast feet, something Hrgovic doesn't have. Hrgovic also doesn't have the same power as Dubois to really discourage Wardley from slugging.

This might also shock you, but as someone who predicted Dubois-Wardley and who is a fan of Dubois, I think the Itauma we saw today would absolutely knock Dubois out. Ituama's faster feet will neutralize Dubois's defense and make him easy to knock out; I would bet it would be quicker than the Uysk-Dubois 2 knockout.

Triangle theory doesn't work in boxing. Most fights at the world level are just rock, paper, scissors.

If Wardley actually comes in with a game plan this time it's a very winnable fight

I would say Wardley is a harder puncher than Dubois and Itauma, but Hrgovic is an even better than Dubois and has a far better chin than Dubois.

Hrgovic points - I don't think he has the power to stop Wardley but he has more than enough skill and toughness to get the decision.
