To me makes sense for Warrington to have a defence in the Leed Arena then have a big fight with Frampton in April/May.

I can understand and tend to agree with you. I am actually questioning Franks claim the fight will happen this year. It doesnt add up.

I think Warrington would beat Frampton now- unless Carl suddenly turns the clock back.

If Frampton doesn’t look spectacular on Saturday, and frank offers enough dough, I think he might be able to pursuade them to go forward with the fight for November as planned.

Or potentially open up their 2019 season with this fight.

So beating a corpse of Lee Shelby means the punchless wonder josh can beat Frampton? Come on..!

Listen, Carl only had to turn the clock back to his last fight! His performance against Nonito beats josh. Surely you can see that?

Carl needs to drop back down to 122 Len, he ain't no fw. Warrington is a career fw. Carl is best days are behind him now. Josh is peaking and I just can't see Carl been the one to derail the Warrington express.
Lb for lb a few years ago, Carl was league's ahead. Every dog has it's day and were in the Josh Warrington era for the next couple of years.

I haven't seen where Warrington or his team have said he wants another fight before Carl. I hope he fights Carl in 2018.

I agree Carl is at a ridiculous height and reach disadvantage againt today's welterweight-sized featherweights. Whereas at 122 he was a monster. The 4 pounds jump from super bantam to featherweight seems to be one of the most difficult boundaries to cross in boxing. Very very few have ever done so successfully.

In saying that I think Carl can beat Josh. People are going overboard about Jw based on one sdmittedly admirable win vs a corpse (Lee selby) . For me the likeable Josh is unseasoned and unproven.

Although Carl isn't getting any younger, why do people write him off after he lost ONE fight? Against a fighter he already beat before.

I really don't think its going to be the Josh Warrington era for the next few years. Most people think Martinez beat him or a draw at best and Selby was aweful due to the weight drain (Yes I thought Selby would win).

I know your a fan of him and I expect it to be a closer fight the longer its left, mainly due to Frampton getting another year older.

I'd rather the fight happened this year.

I having heard that moog. Afaik, team Warrington have known for quite a while, it's more than likely Carl next. And they're up for it.
I know for a fact that Joshs dad preferred Frampton over Selby, he feels Carl is an easier fight than lee
