If that’s true and I think the same as well then it wouldn’t be a bad time to get some exposure in the US against a former Olympic medalist and rising star? I think eventually he’ll end up defending against Galahad, they’re not happy with the split, but interesting to see what this other potential fight might be.
I don't think they'll genuinely want to sacrifice Stevenson at such a young age, I think Stevenson is just self aggrandizing & promoting himself.. He hasn't even stepped up to b level yet. Margins will begin too narrow as he does then we'll see what he's about.. Way too early with him right now to tell.
Okay casual I called the Selby and Frampton upsets, neither of which were seen as remotely possible on here. I know you're riding a high from getting the Plant and Browne picks right, but let's not get carried away. People love to mock me for being a contrarian a-hole and going with Charles Martin over AJ, yet they had no idea that I went on a 3 month undefeated streak that year before making that self destructive pick, and even I wasn't as pompous and you're being now. Hubris comes before the fall.
Without a doubt, although not guaranteed he'll get the official win, he needs to make sure its in the UK, Bob and Top Rank will have no qualms about screwing him over hard.
I really like both fighters.if there is ever a time that Warrington could actually beat Stevenson, it's right now. And even right now, I really dont think Warrington wants Stevenson to put his mitts on him. When Stevenson hits his prime, I think he will be a top 3 p4p fighter, possibly even #1. Warrington definitely doesnt want to be anywhere near a ri g with Stevenson in his prime.
Good point. Though he's making noises about wanting to bring the Leeds faithful to the US, its ****ing annoying that we have to factor in home advantage (all over the globe in fact, not just in the usa, though it doesn't have the best rep for giving foreigners a fair shake lately) & its not just the better man winning on the night... Though Quigg softened him up so I think it'll be decisive enough lol but u never know..
martin over Joshua.. ouch even if I am wrong about Stevenson its not as bad a fall as martin pick haha but if I am wrong I will admit it
You conveniently ignored my 3 month undefeated streak as well Mr. 10-3. Like I said, contrarian pick. And I highly doubt that, you'll do like you always do, and duck any and all threads about it afterward. Like you do with my posts on politics that you have no counter argument for.
And that's why I think fighting Stevenson is a non-starter. The only way I could see Warrington vacating, is if it were to fight for another world title. Josh is basking in the glory of being a world champion, immensely proud of his belt and I just can't see him vacating to fight some young hot prospect for a few extra bucks. His career at the top level of boxing has only just started and as well as meaning everything to him, having his world title also maximises his earning potential. He'll fight Galawad or Valdez next IMO. He'll earn good money from both and get the chance to keep his title.
congratz for going 3 months undefeated . and no I won't avoid topics on it. as for politics we will never agree so no point arguing back and forth 50 posts every topic lol. now on 2 other things explain your marreno pick
