Yes, the City Ground fight hasn't been on the cards for a while; yes, Wood has never been that interested in a rematch unless it's at the City Ground... Can't Warrington just accept he lost fair and square and move on?

As for the "curly hair" jibe, that just kind of shows why Wood shouldn't bother with him. Sliding doors in career terms over the last 2/3 years.

 

All went tits up for Warrington when he left Warren.

 

Warrington whining about being made to wait for a fight when he made Lee Selby wait years. If it happened again he'd get stopped again, Wood might not e able to outbox him but eventuallly he'd outfight him, that's his style and that, along with his attitude and personality, is why people warm to him more than Warrington.

 

Warrington is infuriating. That scowling face he puts on just winds me up, like he's got a permanent chip on his shoulder. And yet when he's a guest on a podcast he comes across as pretty sound, maybe he just isn't great on camera!

He wanted his name for the city ground fight. It was the only way he sold it out. Now that's off the table but warrington is probably still the biggest financial fight for wood. Who's stated he wants the biggest purse possible which I don't blame him.

Guessing his frustrated as he wants a fight date with wood or look at other fights. It's been dragging on quite a while.
