Matthew (Franklin) Saad Muhammad's fights with Marvin Johnson, Richie Kates, and Yaqui Lopez (especially the 2nd).

Round 8 of the 2nd Johnson fight is one of my favorite rounds ever.

Williams-Martinez 1. There's better wars but haven't seen this one mentioned. Great nonstop war at a very high skill level.

Berrera morales will always have a special place in my memory. Them guys seriously disliked one another and totally fought like it. Again, at a high skill level. Gatti ward was amazing but neither of them was a top flight guy. I'm a huge fan of both fights and all 4 fighters. Warriors for real.

Off subject but think about morales at 27 fighting at 122. What he did in the ring. Now fast forward to mid 30's morales up 4 weight classes, fat, out of shape, and what he still did in ring with maidana or garcia. 2 guys at top of sport...makes it feel like boxings been a little watered down. Don't it? Call them warriors...but I had to put a "for real" on the end of last post and wanted to explain.

It is a case of Morales being great, and yet another example on this being a weak era.
