Was Matthysse robbed?

He may be betting on the fights. Perhaps he was in league with the other Puerto Rican judge. With 2/3 they can guarantee a decision. If NBA refs do it, then boxing judges definitely do it.

On the other hand, if he were betting on the fight, why draw attention to his score -- why produce an impossible score?

Do boxing judges get eye examinations? Is Carlos Colon blind?

Who chose Carlos Colon to judge this fight? Was Don King involved? Do you mean to tell me that promoters are openly (or covertly) involved in judge selection?

Why isn't GBP complaining on behalf of Matthysse -- are they somehow complicit in all this?

I want an ESB investigative journalist expose on corruption in boxing judging!

I want answers!

I feel heart sorry for Lucas thats two robberies in a row for him. Oh for honest officials

 

As I've asked before, is there any possibility of Matthyse (or his handlers) suing "judge" Colon in civil court? I would think it might be possible to win such a case, given the extremity of the situation.

 

I dont know about robbed but Devon Alexander is a bum ass fighter. He is wayyyyyyyy overrated and will get his ass kicked if he move up to 147!!!!! He soft as hell!!!

 

i was rooting for Alexander but thought Lucas won. You could argue a draw but a Alexander win? No way.

We already knew that Colon gave Alexander at least one round in which he clearly got his ass kicked, but Nelson, in an effort to outdo the joke of a decision he delivered in Alexander-Kotelnik, also somehow found a way to gave Devon the 10th. atsch

 

I wonder if Matthysse reads this forum? (and others like it.)

Hopefully he knows that the vast majority of fans know he won his last two fights.
I sure hope so.

 

Daylight Robbery.

 

I thought Alexander would win a close one but I admit Matthysse was robbed. He was putting in some purely punishing shots even in the four or so rounds you would or could give Devon. The two most obvious rounds to score were both Matthysse's too. I felt bad for the guy.

 

I just took another poll and those who thought Matthysse won was 77%, those who though Alexander won was only 7%!
