    Yes, a truly masterful display by two very talented fighters. Not only talented, but also gymrats...

    That must've sucked, because it was an HBO BAD show. Lampley,Merchant, Steward called the fight. Paterson, personal question. Do you ever sleep or do you stay up and watch matches 24/7?;)

    Toney's ability to fight off the ropes is beautiful...just beautiful.

    It was on channel 5?

    :lol::lol:

    Nah i get my sleep, just dont really do much else but go to the gym and watch fights. Obviously I see my mates and that but its mostly about boxing.

    Havent been watching the same amount of fights the last few weeks as I have been mega busy, so im making up for it.

    I love the way he rolls as he slips the shots to get leverage in the right hand.

    From what I remember in this fight, Freddie Roach was working Toney's corner, and Roach was trying to motivate James to get more busy. Roach told James (not an exact quote) that Jirov was trying to take food from Toney's children's mouth's. James responded, **** that !! And went on to eventually stop Jirov.

    Anyways, great fight, I'm a big fan of James "Lights Out" Toney. The Toney, Barkley fight, is one of my all time favorites.

    Well James definitely didn't stop Jirov, he won the fight on points.

    Best part was Roach telling Toney he had to put Jirov down in the 12th to win the fight and that's exactly what James ended up doing. That moment was probably the most excited I've ever been watching a fight. :bbb

    Oh excuse me, I haven't seen this fight since it was aired live. I could have sworn Toney stopped Jirov, but obviously I was wrong, still a great fight.

    He knocked him down at the very end but Jirov got up.
