I told all of my buddies who didn't see the fight that Maidana pretty much abused Broner. We all sat and watched it again today and it was a pretty good fight with Broner in the middle rounds giving a good account of himself. I guess his hype had me thinking he would box circles around Maidana. Excellent fight from both.

Maidana thoroughly and clearly beat Broner. Landed more, the heavier shots, the KDs. But it wasn't the bell to bell evisceration one might think by reading some of the threads on here.

Loved the revenge hump in round 11!

that made the fight for me.. i wouldn't have cared if Maidana would lose after that.. or get KOd or DQd or Robbed..

him dry humping him back and humiliating him won the fight for me

No doubt. Agreed. I guess I got caught up in the moment when first watching it.

8-4 in rds... And when you consider that Broner should have been penalized for elbows and flagrant punch after the bell...

Watched the fight again and felt pretty much exactly the same way.. Saying that, it's probably because I knew the result before watching it the first time.

Cannot deny, Broner got beat down throughout. Broner just did not do anything worthy of mention.. at all...
He was flat flooted, stood infront of Maidana, took his shots and just didn;t get a chance to fire back.
Even when Maidana got a point deducted for headbutting/pushing Broners chin up, it was because Broner was illegally holding both of Maidana's arms.
Broner completely flopped and most of the criticism is justified.

If anything i thought the fight was even more one sided after watching it a second time. I really was expecting Maidana to be robbed by the judges, moreso because of the ridiculously poor ref and the blindingly biased commentators.
I always had a lot of respect for Paulie also, but when he said he had the fight level after 7 rounds i nearly choked, he was obviously trying to make his SD loss look better.

Fight is sweeter everytime I watch it. I like to watch all the broner **** talking vids & then watch the fight. Makes the fight 5 times better.

You know you could try getting laid instead of getting off to a boxing match. Just a suggestion...

Broner got beat up . But he was not COMPLETELY steamrolled .

It was a competitive fight , But it was NOT a close fight .

Competitive and close are 2 different things .

Overall it was an entertaining fight .

MARCOS MAIDANA VS. ADREIN BRONER 2 . LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN .

I want to see a rematch , Broner deserves a chance to redeem himself .

He already said he would like a rematch quickly as possible with no tune ups, and i speak for everyone when i say we dont mind seeing Maidana beat up on him some more .

I had it 67-65 to Maidana after 7.

    And 115 - 110 Maidana after 12

Yep. I feel that same way about this fight and Mayweather vs Cotto.

The beating Broner had is a little exaggerated on here. He was hurt, but not completely getting steamrolled in the ring. It was a one sided encounter. Broner did have his moments.

It was a excellent fight from Maidana not from both ways. Maidana won almost every round and knocked him down twice.

Broner didn't make a good account of himself at all.
