They say 'styles make fights', so I ask: Does James Cook always have Watson's number? I mean James was far from a mug; he beat Storey, Winterstein, Kaylor, Uusivirta, Christie (Errol) and O'Toole (Smith). He could get caught cold (which probably would not happen in a Watson rematch, of any time); and was outclassed by a peerless Graham, bang on form, but from 1988 to 1994 was a class act. I am quite happy to state than Benn would of always lost to Watson, and that is without hindsight, I picked Watson over Benn in 89; looking at it, there is an argument for Cook over Watson, from 1988-91 as well.... p.s. I wonder if the Beeb has the Cook/Watson floating around in the vaults?
Not that Cook was in anyway a Bodysnatcher, but Watson's other conclusive defeat was also to a cutie. Maybe Watson was always going to have trouble with that type of fighter?
