Who gives a **** if hes a nice guy?

Do you know Geale? The only people that should care about how good a guy Geale is, is his family, and friends (close friends).

As a boxing fan, i judge people for what they do in the ring.

Mundine is close to the full package, when hungry, whereas Geale is a much lesser fighter.

That's cos you are a gutless little wimp....:patsch

You over rate the courage it takes to step into a boxing ring.

If you think it takes more courage to step into a ring with padded gloves than to face an enemy whose sole purpose is to kill you stone cold dead .....then you really do have the brains of a gnat.

Sure it takes some..... but I refer you to my Thread in the Lounge on this very same subject.....http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100570 No ****er seems to agree with you.

    I give a **** if he's a nice guy.
I don't like to support cockheads, good for you if you do.

However you are right, that is only part of the package.
So besides Green and Soliman, how has Mundine done any better than Geale?

Mundine has 33 fights in 8 years, Geale has 19 fights in 4 years.
Mundine has 3 losses, Geale has 0 losses.
Everytime Mundine has fought A grade fighters he's lost.
Geale has yet to be tested with an A grader, but looks terrifiic with his better opponents.

You claim you judge people for what they do in the ring, yet your man hasn't actually done a lot by A-grade fighter standards. :huh

Mate, no one gives a **** how much you like Mundine, but seriously put things into perspective and stop bullshitting about him. :patsch

I 4 1 would love to see Mundine VS Geale

Mundine would win the fight as he has much more in all departments than Geale.

Mundine would win a wide ud in style.

I hope they get it on next year.

Im not doubting that thread at all. Being in a war, would be pretty scary.

Im saying getting into the ring with fighters like Green and Kessler. You have to agree that takes courage? Right?

    Why?

Taylor has a good MW rank and Mundine will need to keep busy.

Good local fight and I think lots of support for this fight.

Im actually putting things into perspective mate. As far as i see it, if Choc can make weight, he beats Sturm.

A grade fighter standards? Sure, hes not a Bernard Hopkins. But beating Felix Sturm is a solid achievement. Maybe were asking for to much here.

P.S Geale will never win a world title. Not enough power and guts. You guys can keep dreaming and building the hype. But just like other hype machines, it all comes crashing down.

YEAH..... Right.....:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

You really do seem to have one rule for Mundine and one for every other fighter....

Just run your eye down the list of Top Class fighters that Mundine defended his Paper Titles against....

And then when he finally had a chance to prove himself against a serious contender ..(Kessler)..... He ran away like a mangy dog...:scaredas:

There's your "Hero" Gav..... He will always be known as the fighter who relinquished a Title rather than risk a beating...

Tell me again about the "Courage of Mundine" :rofl :rofl :rofl

Hes got 2 fights scheduled in the US for 09.

Americans would love to see Shannon Taylor back. They probably still remember him after his fantastic display against Sugar Shane.

On a serious note, im pretty sure Khoder said he wouldn't give Taylor a cent.

You got to look at things in perspective OZ. How many of us expected him to be where is he now? When he turned pro?

I mean sure, but wins over Echolls (even though he was shot, literally), Green, Soliman 2 (Both fighters priced even - think), and competitive with Kessler is good.

Just like you guys, these recent choice of opponents is stupid, mismanagement and frustrating.

But im just buzzing over Choc vs Sturm.
