sry in advance if this has already been mentioned

I'v always had a hard time gaining weight and in high school was only around 130. being that i was 6'3 ft back then you can kinda see the problem. i have now been able to get my self up to 160 and 6'6 ft but seemed to be stuck at that weight. i'v been digesting more cals in a day but starting to get more difficult as i gain more. i guess my main questen is should i try cutting down my cardio a little to burn less cals. i right now run 35-45 miles a week. any other advise would be much appreciated also thanks.

I imagine you're young. I'd run a lot less and eat one, maybe two big meals a day to slow your metabolism down.

You'll gain weight soon enough. I wouldn't get too hung up on it.

dont worry about your weight and worry about your advantages your height and reach will help you against your opponents if you learn to throw a strong one two that will get you through most fights...

the bottom line is not how much you wight but how strong you are... make sure you lift weights, push-ups, pull ups, squats, dead lift... the problem with many skinny tall fighters is how weak they are.. now if you can be a strong lean tall fighter you will have an advantage.... especially is that's your natural weight

Either eat more or do less. The former would be my personal choice, just go for more calorie dense foods.

a few years ago i went to work in the desert. i spent 5 hours from 6am-11am just carrying buckets of rockmelon, and up to 13 hours after lunch stacking sorted melons onto pallets and then manually moving those pallets with a jack.

i worked 6 days a week and once my body was use to the routine i ran before work (at 5am) and-or after depending how long the day was.

i adopted a high protein, low fat diet which was pretty much like this...

6 raw egg whites in the morning followed by raw oats for breakfast

tuna/chicken with rice and raw veges for lunch

similar evening meal - iron tablets supplement after.

bread, milk, fruit as inbetween snacks.

this was pretty much my staple diet when i wanted to bulk up and lose weight. once you lose any extra weight get back on that red meat you'll be missing so much.

this was hands down - hands down - my fastest and most fulfilling method for getting in shape, and the main reason was that by living in the desert i took away all those variables and distractions which tend to sometimes compromise your diet and programme if you're not in isolation.

i started each day with sets of pushups and situps literally as i rolled out of bed, and then went straight for a run before breakfast.

if you want to get lean, ripped and put on nothing but muscle then my advice is try to get as lucky as i got and find a farmer who has 12-16 hours work a day over a melon season, and is willing to give you all the heavy work.

i did this for 6 months of every year for 3 years before i just needed to change things up but it's the best.

An easier way to ingest more calories, would be liquids. Try taking in some extra calories via liquids. Also eat more calorie dense foods for example nuts.
Peanut butter is a great one if you like it, have peanut butter sandwiches and use a **** ton of peanut butter:good.
