Weirdest trainer-fighter combinations?

    one that springs to mind is oscar and floyd sr.it was odd that the foulmouthed,egotistical floyd sr trained the nice guy,mr.cleancut dlh

    another is mayweather sr and hatton.2 styles that just did not mesh at all

    also b-hop and roach especially due to the 'white boy' comments he made regarding calzaghe.....in the fight roach was training him for

    any others?

    weird I have more respect for Ruiz now than when he was around; at least he stepped up and he evidently did something right, although his style was not aesthetically pleasing.
