Rendall munroe won a UD against a tough armenian Martirosyan. It was a good fight with a high tempo, the only question i have is why the 8th round was not scored a 10-8 round? munroe was totally dominant in the round landing 35 puunches compared to Martirosyan's 3, or can 10-8 rounds not be given in european bouts unless there is a knockdown or point deducted.

Anyway good win for the bin man!

It was a 10-8 round if scored correctly(which I'm assuming the 3 judges didn't) but lets call it for what it was tonight. A tough opponent who was extremely limited, lacked power, stamina and balance managed to give Munroe a tough fight in what should of been a very handy win.

I thought of Munroe v Dunne as a 50/50 fight before tonight but after watching that I think any reasonable offer from maloney(any offer which doesn't include options bar a rematch) should be accepted by Brian Peters.
I'd be quietly confident about Dunne's chances against Munroe now.

Matthew Marsh would be a handful for Munroe if he fights like he did tonight.

Spot on big ears. Munroe is fairly handy but limited. Fringe European class imo. I too think Dunne would beat him. Lets hope that its not on PPV if it comes off!!! :)

well munroe's a game kid it's just his pitter patter style of punching and lack of power will mean he's always going to be in tough fights.his jab is no more than placed on his opponent no snap or pop at all,and really even if he'd only had moderate power he would have had martirosyan out of there in the middle rounds, considering the pressure he had him under.the armenian even came back into it after that, and came on pretty strong.if that had been a better opponent with more power at that stage of the fight munroe would have been in trouble.he has got heart and is a strong kid with decent skills, but i don't see him going much further.

Munroe has done really well to become European champion and to defend the belt. The guy is still improving but I doubt he will make an impact further up in class. Dunne vs Munroe should be a very good fight and pretty even, both could be fringe world top 10 fighters and they could end up having a decent set of fights against each other. I hope Micheal Hunter comes back well and strong, he has been through alot and is a likeable person. The division seems abit weak in Europe but with our guys the title could be interesting for quite some time to come.
