Joe may have won the fight on the score cards but I knew he could not land any good shots on hopkins. So where was all these great combos that joe has? The one thing I can say is Joe was on ***** street and Hopkins was not hit clean the whole fight. I have had to listen to you brits talk about how Joe would destroy him for a long time. But Joe looked pretty average tonight. Kelly Pavlik would tear him to pieces. Joe is a very sloppy fighter which he has proven tonight. I like Joe but he is not what you think he is. Prety lame fight all in all. I had Joe winning casue he worked more not cause he landed anything.
NO THEY HAVE NOT. But Joe looked very normal tonight. I give him props for the win due to workrate but he is not the fighter everyone thinks he is. Kelly Pavlik would kill him. with skill and heart.
Calzaghe actually landed a lot of good, clean punches that got Hopkins attention in the last 8 rounds, and as usual his body punching was totally overlooked. Calzaghe is an amazingly underrated body puncher, but Hopkins' fatigue in the last 4 rounds was the result
Calzaghe looked worse than usual because of Hopkins. Nobody looks good against him. He's the ultimate spoiler who looks to take away his opponents strengths and make them fight a slow paced fight. Calzaghe would look pehnominal against Pavlik since he comes straight forward, doesn't have a very good defense, and couldn't deal with the speed or angles Joe would show him.

Joe likes aggression= Lacy, Pavlik types. Nard played in and out, and counter punchedell. Joe aint used to hat, got caught, went down, and for 2 rds more, seemed confused. Once he got better timing on it, he changed the rythm and Nard had to claim low-blow and delay it, s to throw the rytm back to him. It almost worked
