Wow...pre-Hamdan, Abraham's opposition was consistently awful...highlighted of course by this guy.

That's bad... I feel sorry for him. Probably working full time and doing this on the side to make a buck. They're not wealthy in Romania. It takes a lot of balls to get in the ring when you're 0-20 and pretty much know you're gonna get your ass kicked.... again.

Yeah, but he threw a hell of a scare into Omar Jatta in 2004. Evidently, that one could have gone either way. Could you imagine losing your pro debut to a 0-22 fighter?

Thats a terrible record, but it still takes major balls to get in the ring.

I wonder if they introduce him rather as a "veteran of 50 fights" than "sporting a record of 0 wins, 52 losses". Unbelievable that he's still going, and allowed to, maybe he'll get to a perfect 0-60. He has already surpassed Marciano's record in reverse. It has probably gotten to the point where he does his best not to win, even if he has a chance.

What's the record for most consecutive losses, seems like this Manea guy has either broke the record or is going for the record

Your thread title is very disrespectful, Suzan. How many people are emotionally capable of going through that? Heart of a lion.

He certainly has more courage than the numerous "undefeated" fighters that have fought him. Can you believe a 22-0 fighter fighting an opponent who is 0-50? It's a disgrace. He started as a junior middleweight too and fought up to heavyweight.

This man should have some respect. It is people like him that keep this sport going. He may not of won a fight, but to only be stopped 12 times in 52 fights against fair opposition deserves kudos.

I suspect that at least half a dozen of them points losses were of the protecting the prospect (hometown) variety.

He clearly is no Eric Crumble, that is as close as you can get to a pathetic fighter...

These are the guys that make the sport, last minute replacements to save a show, give a prospect a tough fight to make them learn abit - probably inhibited to go for it as winning could dent their chances of a payday.

Suzy it is abit disrespectful, the guy is not 'Pathetic' hes probably looking for some money and loves the sport, he probably is not the best fighter and knows it but he is certainly not 'pathetic'.
