I have been a Garcia fan for a long time but I am frustrated by his pattern of 1 good fight then 1 bad fight

Many felt he beat Porter, I didn't but a lot of people did. I felt he could have pushed the WBC to delay Ugas and demand a rematch and clamor for the fight but instead goes and fights Granados a guy whose not in the RING 10, at least I didnt think he was

He is running out of prime years and fought Granados when he nearly got his hand raised vs Porter and then went away. I am shocked he didnt go around screaming bloody murder and demand a rematch or call out Thurman for a rematch

Forgive me if he did that post fight vs Grandos I didnt see the fight

All in all while Granados had never been stopped Danny basically did what he was supposed to do. Win and win comfortably. The only way
I would make a big deal of this fight would be if Danny had lost or was dragged into a difficult fight and dropped several rounds.

Yes but that was Prime Pac, Pac is now 40 slowed down and still hasn't shown me he can beat Thurman. He lost to Horn, Thurman can (and imo will) beat him

    Have a nice day!

Granados was absolute crap in this fight. He was wide open to hooks all night, slow, and lacked any power. He must have had tunnel vision as he had terrible vision.

Garcia had no respect for Granados's punch. This allowed him to load up against Granados. Its a different story facing the top guys in the weight class.

Garcia looked good and stop a C level fighter like he should but that doesn't change the fact he is who he is. At 31 years old he isn't going to be bringing anything new to 147 we haven't seen from him.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get Danny Garcia v Broner next.

All that being said, you got to give him props for dismantling him in a way that no other fighter has. That level of fighter gave Porter all he could handle and some feel that he actually beat Broner, not to mention derailing Amir Imam. Say what you want but the man was no slouch.

His Garcia fight went very well. He was controlled and calculated. He went back to letting his non boxing father train him and he got beaten and gifted the win. If Ugas had just a little killer instinct in him, more early Gamboa and less early Lara, he could have won that fight. Fathers that train son fighters have a due date. Ask Floyd and definitely ask Donaire. You have to change up at a certain level.
