    .....are you currently using ?

Am looking for a new pair.

I used Adidas Akrids before, they were classed as wrestling boots i think.

Also, does anyone know where its possible to purchase Asics boots in the UK or older models of other brands ?

The usual stores all have pretty much the same models and ebay isnt throwing much up.

    Cheers :good

Which boots suit you best depends alot on your style imo.

shorter infighter guys, especially sluggers, tend to put alot of stress on their boots - for this reason the sturdiness of wrestling shoes tends to suit them better, and provide the grip that suits their style.

outfighters often do well in lighter boots.

Obviously, at amatuer level your boots won't make a massive difference to your success or failure in the ring, but they will affect your wallet if you have to go replacing them.

    Appreciate the replies.

I prefer a short cut boot but must admit, the ones i see currently look a bit heavy for there shape......the adidas range with straps for example though i may be wrong.

I am certainly more an outside fighter but am probs just gonna get a pair of the boss hogs, more so as i want a pair quick, dont like training in my running shoes etc......though i know u shouldnt generally wear your boots on hard surfaces.
