do you think consistantly produces the most competitive bouts?

I'm not talking about a packed division full of great talent (although this could be a factor)...a division that can almost guarantee a competitive bout 9 times out of 10. A division that regularly produces great, close bouts...

Do you think boxing gets more competitive bouts in the lighter weight classes? Or are the heavier guys always fighting to a great 12 round decision?

(I'll be going straight to bed after I start this thread, so talk amongst yourselves...that is assuming people comment :D)

Super six made super middle the ideal division. Welter has created a steady stream of good to great matchups. But overall id say lightweight. Always competitive whether 135 or 140.

Despite the lower level of skill the CW division puts out some decent match-ups, even fights that have heavy favorites are still a good part toss-up and competitive.

LMW has recently had interesting match-ups and a lot of talent on the horizon that's itching to separate itself from the pack.

Lighter weights seem to come through more often. 130 or 135. The most potential, in my opinion lies in 140.

Definitely...the majority of the bouts in the Super 6 have been fairly competitive, and even when the result has been via KO, the bout up to that point will have been competitive.

I think over the years, the lighter weights have produced more competitive bouts...I think this may be down to the speed and the amount of punches that are being thrown.

But recently, like someone has said...154lbs-168lbs have thrown up some very good bouts. Very competitive were either boxer could be the winner.

To be honest, I don't follow Cruiserweight too much. I watch a bout no matter what weight class, but don't really keep up to date with the boxers themselves.

Cruiser is always competitive - you never know whsts going to happen.

It may not have much sparkle or public appeal - but to the hardcore fan it is one of the most intriguing

From JL to Welter. Those weights have consistently had the most competetive fights as well as very deep talent wise.
