All his bitching and whining didn't get him what he wanted.

Should he go up to 140? He's too small, IMO. I think he's maxed out at lightweight.

He can't fight the most feared cab driver like Soto because of Bob Arum.

Guerrero makes the most sense. Is that the most likely scenario?

The young Lions at 140 are next...

Morales just said a couple days ago he is not ready for MARQUEZ yet.... But $$ might persuade that fight.

I would like to see, Maidana, Ortiz, or Bradley Alexander winner. Khan would be good but I doubt that happens.

Maidana would be good for the Vacant title that was being talked about for the Morales fight. Maidana was quoted saying he is coming back big on 2011 and is eyeing a title. Marquez could be done IMO.

    Morales will be next.

I heard Morales say he needs to be better than he was against Lorenzo for Marquez, but I did'nt here or read him say he wanted more fights before a Marquez showdown.

I'm pretty confident it will be Morales. Hate to see Morales in there as the sacrificial lamb, but at least both get a good payday out of it.

.....believe me, the casual Latino fan will buy the PPV.

Seeing him in against Ortiz would be awesome before trying one of the champions. Morales seems next. Sad, but like Divac said, at least they're both getting a good payday.

If they do Ortiz Marquez it would be sick!

GBP should just do it, ORTIZ will not be the next Golden boy that will be reserved for Khan and Canelo....

Might as well feed him to JMM...

Hey if JMM wins, great ****ing win against a very capable JRWW.

If Ortiz wins, it could put him at the top again. Another 50/50 fight to look forward to if GBP is down to do it.

I think Ortiz and Maidana are very doable at this point...IMO

The Ortiz fight would never happen. GBP still has hopes for Ortiz.......and if Ortiz were to be matched against the much better skilled and experienced Marquez and get shred to pieces.....that would be the end of Ortiz' career.

........it just not a good business move for GBP.

He should fight Ortiz at 140 then Bradley for a tittle if he gets by Alexander(which he will).
    Guzman-Too fat
    Soto-Arum
    Guerrero-Possible
Khan-Possible but the speed and size advantage Khan would have at 140 would be too great

Khan is booked for 1 year already... Peterson then Bradley Alexander winner...

So that leaves Morales, Maidana, Ortiz, Soto, Guerrero.... Of possible opponents for JMM to chose from.

Roach was quoted saying JMM after mosely...

Maybe JMM takes the Morales fight to get acclimated to training for a 140 limit. Or if he really wants to get ready he takes Ortiz to prepare him for PAC at the end of 2011. Its all up to GBP and what JMM wishes to do. He could keep chasing pac and Make a statement at 140, time will tell.

In order of what I'd most like to go down:
    1) Guerrero
    2) Soto - Arum likely prevents this, but this is "ideal"
    3) Katsidis II - if he is still deserving
    4) Khan - last payday and attempt at another weight class

With this, he'd have had a good and long enough run at lightweight to be considered somewhere in the conversation of the all time greats at the weight and would be storybook. Retire the next time he loses...

Soto would be best, Guerrero a close 2nd. Big money fight vs Khan at 140 where he'll most likely get whupped but collect $$$$$.

Why not go for Khan? I think that would be interesting.
