I'd still like to see him in there with Mitchell someday... But who would you put him in with next?

And I'd like to see him boxing more and using his ****ing feet rather than his face to get out of trouble.

Some work in the gym, a couple of quick confidence builders, then a rematch with Matthews in about 9 months

He needs LOTS of that. Crolla's got good footwork, so why isn't he using it properly?

He needs to go back to basics to an extent, learn to time when to apply his pressure and maybe utilize his jab a bit more and box behind it, his jab did impress me tonight but it means **** all if the punches thrown after it is going to get yourself in trouble.

Move down - SFW is a lot weaker both domestically and internationally. He's always looked small at LW and moved up because an opportunity presented itself.

Buckland v Crolla is an excellent fight. His style doesn't suit him when he is at a physical advantage.

He may have outgrown it now though.

It's not like he was just getting pasted. He can hang at 135 - he just needs to improve how he implements his defence. Any fighter can learn to move their head and use angles.

He needs to learn how to capitalise when he has someone on the ropes. Couple of times I thought Crolla could have made more of shots but just covered up instead. Anthony really needs to take a big lesson from this he was taking needless punches all night and just going at it bull in a china shop without standing back picking his shots and thinking about what he's doing. I still think the ref was wrong to stop the fight but thats crappy british boxing refs for you.

But Crolla's young enough to come back harder and stronger from this just hope he has the right guidence and confidence builders in place for him to do it.
