He kept saying he had a plan for when Klitschko tried to clinch. Do you think his plan was really just to fall down in hopes the ref would eventually deduct points and eliminate the clinching. Doesn't seem like that great of a plan to me.

Yeah, sucks cuz i was rooting for Haye. I thought he might really have a trick or two. At least an attempt to fight on the inside.

Inside fighters have a great chin and great stamina. Haye has neither.

Yeah clearly that was something they came up with and it worked ok until he overdid it and ended up recieveing a count for a push on the back of the head. I thought he would deal better with the clinching, even if it meant throwing a few rabbit punches.

Yup, the plan was to put up no resistence to Wlad's leaning, and just take a knee. It was the wise thing to do, as he didn't risk tiring himself out trying push back against a strong, 250 pound man.

Yeah I thought he'd at least fight dirty on the inside, like a low blow here or there & maybe a bit of foot stamping

Simple truth is Hayes just **** boxer who only has 1 punch

Taking a knee when excessively clinched by the bigger man, is probably the best thing you can do, if you want to avoid being leaned on and totally drained of your energy.

But yes it got to a point where he became a little silly. Not really sure what else you can do, unless you want to take the Eddie Chambers route.
