If you can't say something nice, say nothing. I'm saying nothing.

Depends on what I'd have to do. If I was Floyd Mayweather and got offered more money for an easier fight, then I'd take the easier fight. But after I won the easier fight, shouldn't I continue to fight the best challenges out there? After all, I am the champion.

As far as I know, there isn't an INTERNATIONAL CLEANERS HALL OF FAME.

Money is not the only thing in the minds of great fighters. They care about proving themselves to be the best by beating the best as well.

Its not that the fight wouldve been easier or harder ... its the same work ... not harder or easier ... what would your choice be?

Who here is saying Mayweather wouldn't have got any money from the gate or ppv with a fight against Margarito ?

The answer is the thread starter because he wanted a biased poll .

Depends on whether or not I want to be regarded as the guy who wanted to only fight the best and leave no doubt I was one of the best who ever stepped into a ring. Floyd isn't that guy.

Always makes me laugh when people call others stupid while not being able to differentiate between "you're" & "your".

But Margarito IS and always was a harder fight than Baldomir.

The point i'm trying to make you young bucks ... is that why would he fight Margarito for less gain ... there was more prestige in winning the universally recognized title than winning that bull**** WBO strap.

Add to that ... if the fight with PBF was such a must then why didn't Arum set up Margarito for a shot at Baldomir?

Baldomir wouldve fought anyone and was just looking for a decent payday. All Arum wouldve had to do was put up the money ... put that **** on B.A.D or ESPN 2 (because thats the only time Margarito can headline a show) and it wouldve given leverage in a fight against PBF.

Because he wasn't going to ... it wasn't even going to be a PPV fight ...
