He fought a couple of comeback fights, and then he retired again before having his last scheduled fight. He had been claiming that he received false positives on his HIV test because of steroid use earlier in life, and that recent tests showed that he was HIV negative. Then he re-retired while trying to get a license in another state. Speculation would lead me to believe that his HIV went back above detectable levels again, so he wasn't able to fight. He looked like crap in his comeback anyway, Six Heads Lewis ain't dead. Last I heard of Jirov, he was attempting a comeback around ND (back at cruiser), and getting beat down in sparring.
