Whats Catchweight?

    I've seen a couple people here use that word and im not to sure what it means.

    When fighters agree to fight at a certain weight.

    ...............which is usually equally between their respective natural weight classes.

    Certain weight usually between their divisions,for example Pavlik(who usually fights at 160) will fight Hopkins(who usually fight at 175) at 170 catchweight

    So its a set weight not based on a weight division?

    That's pretty much the definition for it. A set weight for a particular fight which is not fought at the limit of one of the existing weight divisions.

    And usually, there is no title on the line.
