Floyd Mayweather's winning 6 titles in 5 different weight divisions(3 legit or linear titles) while staying undefeated or Joe Calzaghe's being champion for 10 years and unifying the titles in one weight division while staying undefeated?
PBF in this case. Only because the SMW division is weaker now than it was in the early to mid 90's. There are cases of guys staying in their division and cleaning it out being more impressive than a multiple weight champion.
I could understand the argument if Calzaghe stayed at Welterweight for a decade and beat every great fighter who has come through that weight class. But let's face facts: He cleaned out a weak division, and he did so at his BEST possible weight (or damn close to it). PBF won at 130, 135, 140, 147, and 154, against top notch competition. He has also done all of that while being 5 years younger than JC. There is no contest here: PBF all the way!

The answer is Mayweather. Floyd could've stayed at either 130, 135, or 140 and gone undefeated for 10 years.
I think if he had stayed at 135 he may have a couple of losses, at least one, since it was a more talented division over time. It would have been interesting. Casamayor, a rematch with Corrales, Juan Diaz. PBF certainly favored of course, but some good fighters have come through there.
Yah, not sure on it. I always think Casa would have been tricky in his prime. Stevie Johnston was there too for a bit. Spadafora, etc. Just started a poll on it, think it's an interesting question.
