What's more intriguing, watching Manny beat guys he's perceived to have stylstic advantages against, albeit in extremely watchable fights (Margo, Cotto), or watching Mayweather dominate with his technical brilliance, albeit not press his advantage in the fight and keep it relatively cautious?

It seems to me that for the criticisms you can aim at Manny for the aforementioned, that those fights were still tremendous fights that I'd rather watch over fights like Mayweather-Marquez, Baldomir, ODLH any day of the week!

If it's not Floyd Mayweather that's the opponent, Pacquiao will always have these so called "stylistic advantages". No matter who it is, he'll be accused of careful match-making and deliberate avoidance of 'slick fighters'.

And to answer your question - Pacquiao's wins are far more fascinating.

Pac makes a concerted effort to finish the man in front of him. Floyd does not. I'd rather watch Pac.

Both are good for different reasons. Floyd isn't fighting or taking real challenges so the excitment for him has died. Same for Pacquiao now was good upto the cotto fight since then it doesn't look like there is a real challenger out there. Until these two fight eachother or someone who poses a real threat neither is too intriguing

Most people find emmanuel's fights exciting, but why is Floyd always outselling him? Before anyone says people want to see Floyd lose, I never once met anyone in my life who was laying down $50-100 annually to see fighters they don't even like.

Pacquiao is not just winning, he's destroying people that he shouldn't be. I'm really in awe of him right now (so are the Mayweathers no matter what they say). We really are witnessing something truly exceptional for our era. It's Pacquiao all day and i really appreciate what Floyd brings to the table too.

I admire both men's styles, I really do.

But I'd rather watch Pac everytime.

But at least Paquioua still takes fights. Mayweather has what 4 fights in the last 5 years. It seems to me that whenever he sees a thorough challenger growing, he takes a hiatus retirement.

Pac is taking on all comers and moving up in weight class just to make the better fights.

I don't know exactly what it is. It's safe to say emmanuel has moar exposure than Floyd does. He gets to be used as a tool to endorse some American politician and goes onto CNN's 60 Mins. Most prizefighters don't even get access to the market of older white America. He still can't outsell Floyd despite bringing in "excitement" and getting greater exposure.

Thing is, and your avatar just reminded me, I'd rather watch Pea over both, cause whilst having the technical brilliance of a Mayweather, he was a closer who did'nt mind banging it out when he had to, or wanted to (Roger Mayweather, Hurtado)

He's american and will make good sales in the U.S on PPV The casual fan doesn't know how good an opponent is. Saying that if they didnt find him exciting that would wear off after a while. The casual fan is looking for a punch up not technical mastery. Can't be just because he's american it's because he's good at wht he does
