I think the guys a right little legend. Somewhat of a Pacquiao esqe style, yet he incorporates remarkable ring generalship into his speedy in-out flurries. The guy fears no one, no matter how much of a physiological advantage they have over him, he'll be causing problems for just about everyone. His talent and charisma will be leading him on to bigger and better things (though that may be hard given how thin the Middleweight division seems to be right now).

That being said, I think Pavlik is well and truly exposed now. There's just too many things he can't deal with, or has the heart to try and deal with. Any kind of counter-style to his own and his punch output just drops, and as we saw against Martinez last night, he loses all kind of ring authority. He'll be nothing more than a measuring stick from here on out.

    Who's next for Martinez?

Money making match ups hopefully. The kid deserves it!

I picked him to dominate Pavlik and he did just that!

Martinez has been overlooked and avoided his whole career. Now that he's got a hold of the spotlight we're getting to see exactly why nobody wanted any part of him and now he's got Paul Williams and Kelly Pavlik looking to rematch him. This is some of the best news for their wallets and our entertainment.

Martinez should definately fight the winner of PW/Cintron, His fights are exciting to watch and last night proved it again. its a shame he is 35 and this is his biggest win in his career due to him being unlucky and feared i guess. bt look forward to his future matches

as for Pavlik, i liked the guy but he defined the word 'overrated', his fans were blind, i never saw anything special about him, i been telling peoplehis would get whooped by people like martinez or PW or most of the fighters in the super 6, but this is a devastating loss and hope he recovers and improves

A fight with Zbik or one of the other German champions would be good

I just hope his career doesn't follow the same trajectory as the last couple of "most avoided" fighters after their big wins. Look at Margarito, Winky, and Paul Williams. So don't be a cheat, greedy, or unmotivated because you will get embarrassed.

Next should be a 154 lb rematch with Margarito, who badly stopped Martinez many years ago.

Nahh that wouldnt be any good. Its just a waste of time.
But however he won the belts in an optional defense so its likely that he“ll have to do a mandatory defense next vs Zbik :verysad

Zbik hasn't fought a top15 opponent yet. Lol at fightnews who had Spada at #8.

Zbik would be the ideal opponent for Pavlik now: stay-busy fight, confidence builder, knocking a "champion" stiff...

Now that I think about it, Maybe Pavlik Vs. Taylor III?
