Hi all on esb,is it true that David Price dropped Vitali Klitschko when they apparently had a sparring session in 2005?Is anybody able to confirm that this really happened or is it just a publicity rumor?

I agree I was actually shocked myself when I heard it,I was watching the David Price v Raphael Butler fight on youtube and I heard the commentator say it during the first round so I thought I would look for confirmation on here.

yes it was true. numerous people saw it. it hanppened in a gym in florida. he didnt knock him out but he did drop him fairly hard with a right cross. there was footage but the person was made to clear the memory card before he left the gym.
If Pele Reid could deck Vitali, then why not Price? It is sparring; Lamon Brewster did not just deck Lennox Lewis, he sparked him and that to me, seems less likely than Price decking Vitali. That said, I have heard nothing of this, and these things always come out.
