Several weeks? That injury and the surgery were being talked about months and months ago. He could have had both elbows surgically replaced and been fit to fight by now.

I can see him doing a rebound fight just so he can go out with a win.

I would still like to see him against Fury, Wilder, or a Ruiz rubber. Nothing further. He has a great career and should be looking to wrap things up.

Hearn is talking about an 8 rounder on an undercard for Joshua. His next opponent will be the worst they think they can get away with.

He is rich and lost his heart. He hasn't been the guy that got the hometown stoppage against Wlad in years. That Joshua had heart. He lost it since then.

He's trying to work out whether he can trust Ben Davison to train him for his retirement getting KTFO bout against Fury

Finally an actual answer with evidence to back it up.

Joshua is getting up there in age, he's wealthy and sorted, be took a bad KO, he can do whatever he wants.

He can fight bums on under cards, he could probably get a shot at one of the mandatories if he wanted, he could fight Wilder or Jake Paul, he can just sit on the couch at home of he feels like.

I think he wants to fight again but doesn't want to be under the spotlight and have all the media and pressure on him like he has had, which unfortunately is not something he can do.

Joshua recently published an excellent autobiography called Long Walk to Freedom and I suggest for anyone who THINKS they understand him, especially the haters, go read that book. He isn't who I thought he was but he is a lot deeper and more sophisticated than the public perception of him is.

Pretty sure Andy "One-Time I was a boxer" Ruiz would gas out during the ring walk.

He not only got beat up and stopped by Dubois, he got outboxed. There's a very important distinction between getting blasted out and get completely outboxed in the process of getting blasted out.

Was never considered a mentally resilient champ, and we're seeing that unfold in career choices now.

I never knew he was Nelson Mandela. That really has come as a surprise.

His body performance has never been the issue. Should be booking the top sports phycologists around.

Pimblett is a good little MMA fighter if you haven’t seen him! Check out his fight last year against Green ;)
