Probably trying to think of even more bizarre training methods.

Seriously, I think he was waiting for the Skelton-Sprott II situation to be resolved. Since Warren has backed off on his claims for a HW title shot for the final winner of all this British HW round-robin fights, I guess Williams could end up in the mix yet again...

wasn't williams in the shape of his life in the last fight? apparently getting rid of the fat and looking impressive in the ring.

He's by no means a world beater, but the guy can box and the uk heavy scene needs him back at present what with the garbage of Sprott & Skelton.

I think we should just give up on all 4 of the so called top HW's and move on with the next crop of talent. These guys are just clogging up valuable air time which could be used to promote better prosepcts and more talented fighters. I think its pretty much accepted that the 40 year old former kickboxer is the pick of the bunch anyway.

Yep...lets ditch these guys and start watching David Haye.

He doesnt need the british/commonwealth hw title if he moves up after fighting mormeck.

Hopefully he can fight Fraudley in a tune up fight then attack the hw scene properly.

I know but I am assuming Haye (if linear cruiser champ) v Harrison will bring more money in.

You underestimate the amount of money ppl will keep spending to see Fraudley sparked in a different but no less entertaining way

Skelton would be a seriously tough assignment for Haye.
He's very very limited, but he is also huge, tough as anything, and wouldnt give Haye any room to get his power shots off.
Taking this fight would be very dangerous for Haye if he has Heavyweight title ambitions, as a loss to Skelton wouldnt exactly have HBO or Showtime knocking his door down for a signature.

Dannys outside of a Mr Kiplings factory waiting for the security guards to nod off.

I would give Haye a good chance against Skelton.

a little unfair me thinks...Danny was in the best shape of his career in his last outing, where he dispensed with the Welsh pretender Mr.Gammer for the British title....

**** knows why danny was in such **** shape in some of those big fights he had, but the guy is gutsy as hell and should still beat the slug Skelton.

i dont think his head is in boxing anymore. i just think he wanted to go out on a good note and winning the british title is excactly that. if he had any real amibtion left to break onto the World scene we would have heard something by now.

I dont disagree that Skelton may not have been hit as hard as Haye would hit him, although Williams may hit as hard, we will find out as Haye progresses. I also dont disagree that he is faster, more talented etc, but I disagree entirely that he would bust Skelton up on the inside.

Skelton is freakishly strong, and i dont think haye could get him off him inside, and I think Skeltons strength and weight would be a factor if Haye didnt do him early.

Haye would be the favourite, and rightly so, but Skelton would be live in this fight, make no mistake about that, and if it goes past 5 or 6 rounds, look for Skelton to wear him down.

Skelton technically and aestetically is awful, but his style and strength works for him, and mentally he's tough to beat.

nah, i don't think haye should bother with any of the british heavyweights. all his career he's been taking the fights which will get him to the top quickest, so assuming he beats mormeck i reckon he'll be straight in with a wbc or wba top-tenner...
