Someone needs to find him and tell him Crawfords at 168 theres nothing to be scared of. He could dominate 147 in peace.
No, Spence is still waiting for the swelling to go down from that ass whoopin Crawford put on him. LOL
Actually as recently as 24 hours ago at one of his kid's soccer games I don't think Spence has the desire to fight anymore. He's either on his farm or doing things nowhere near related to boxing.
He's probably done with boxing. And if he is, that's smart. A comeback would be a bad decision, especially at 154 with his TBI, the Crawford beating, and a style that doesn't age well.
Very likely at this point, he hasn't fought in two years now. He's had various physical problems over the years, even having eye surgery last year for cataracts, and he's 35 years old. Then the loss to Crawford was devastating, and there was frequent talk of a possible return (I remember the rumors of a match with Fundora), but it never materialized. I doubt we'll see him in the ring again, and if we were to see him, I think he'll no longer be the splendid fighter who for years was the best welterweight alongside Crawford.
Personally I expected more from him. Especially after his very good victory over Danny Garcia in 2020, the year after his horrific car accident. Spence was 30 at the time, but after that victory, there was only the one against Ugas and then the devastating defeat to Crawford. It was all over, a shame, Spence was very strong.
