He's a part time, celebrity, social media, fame hungry boxer., who has no interest in facing the best in risky fights and winning world titles. Getting too much money from sponsors, and he's too busy trying to look and act like Floyd Mayweather to fight right now. He'll have his once every 18 months fight at some point though, and good chance it'll be a Saunders rematch and on PPV lol.
I like Eubank I think he’s way more talented than most give him credit for. But he’s wasted a good opportunity for years now. Could have had a solid career at HIS level but I think he just can’t be bothered. Obviously made good money or maybe he’s looking after his nephew/dad who knows.
He has only ever been partly focused on it. But now he is 34, I would expect to only see him fight once a year at most. There is a lot of money to be made in boxing but he is the type of character to price himself out of fights. As clearly he doesn’t need the money and boxing is one of a number of interests at this point. Boxing still feeds into his celebrity which is something he really enjoys.
He doesn't need the money does he? Why take a load of punches regularly if you don't have to? Skill wise hes better than I think he's given credit for, but he won't ever beat a top top fighter I don't think. He'd beat Saunders now though, I'd like to see that.
