He won the WBO belt in July and is now back in Russia or what?

Hopefully he is waiting for Martinez/Williams/Pavlik or even our little scared puppy Felix Sturm to take a Unification fight with him.

    Cmon Dmitry, stay active buddy!

Who do you want him to fight next?

I'd like him to fight Lorenzo or someone like that before fighting the likes of Sturm or Martinez.

He's plotting, don't you worry. Pirog doesn't miss a beat. Everyone will be wondering what happened to him then . . . BAM. From Russia with glove baby!

Lorenzo would actually be a step back from Jacobs.

This guy is in his 30s already, let him take on the best ones even if he is unexperienced on World level.

I had never watched Pirog fight before and thought Jacobs would outbox this tough guy to a UD, but boy-o was I wrong. I rate Jacobs, maybe in retrospect Pirog was too big a jump so perhaps Pirog should test himself with another fighter below those first-tier opponents to see where he is truley at.

From that list I see Sturm as a likely candidate

Yes i was probably passed out with Jim L. in a locker room.

Jimmy even speaks like that in private folks.

"Oh And the Vodka wobbles Larry!"

    I can just imagine.

He's fighting on the B-Hop-Pascal card. No idea who it's against though.

    Thanks for info.

Better not against another underrated Russian.

Martinez did express he would be interested in fighting him. The balls on that guy... Sometimes his decisions are borderline stupid which is great for us.

However i would love to see Pirog-Pavlik or Pirog-PW. Although im pretty sure PW would make all sorts of excuse to avoid Pirog.

By the way Pirog beats all MW but Martinez. That is still a toss up. I did see Jacobs outbox Pirog for a couple of rounds and Martinez is a better boxer than Jacobs.
