Yes it would have given Pacquiao more opportunities, the thing is Clottey landed nicely when he did let his hands go. It would have been nice to see him gamble and go for broke, if you are not going to win at least give it your all......that way if you lose you still win if you see what I mean. Instead he put in a half arsed performance that had many people questioning his heart and desire and now he is stuck in no mans land with no one wanting to watch him. Shame he is worth more than that imho!
perhaps he was given the 1.5 million dollar bonus because he threatened to pull out of the fight on fight night, a complete no-no that will get you banned from boxing by any and all promoters. i mean for all intents and purposes hes been banned form boxing, right?
