If you were a boxer which boxers style would you want to emulate and which one probably more accurately describes you lol.

Boxer style I want to be: Mayweather

Boxing style that would be more accurate that I also wouldnt mind: Calderon or Nicolino Loche

as you can see I love defense and even moreso if its a fighter who doesnt have the power to knock you out but makes up for it with very good skills

Boxer style I want to be: Pernell Whitaker, slick southpaw "boxer"

Boxing style that would be more accurate: Back when I boxed, I was a southpaw boxer/puncher

I like swarmers too, but I don't like the getting hit frequently part of it.

Ideal style: A cross between Tunney/Giardello/Loughran
Actual style: A cross between Angott/Corro/Ottke...a boring, safety first, poor man's version that is

I'm avg size mid 30's and usually spar with up and coming MMA and amateur fighters all sizes and styles. I don't think I have a particular style, but defense is my first priority. Mostly alot of waist movement, peek aboo style, angles, and after I've felt or figured a pattern I turn up the heat. I'd say my style similar to Winky's or Floyd's with my jab as my main weapon of choice and I don't throw too many shots since I'm no spring chicken anymore. Jab, jab, jab. When I do open up probably I'd say I like to copy Miguel Cotto's offensive output, putting a punch here and there and breaking a guy down instead of relying on one punch. Perfect style for me is Floyd's or Salvador Sanchez.
