Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano didn't use supplements, why do you need them? :huh

Go through the literature and you won't find one article in a peer reviewed journal of science or medicine about "boxing specific" supplements. However, you will find no shortage of bull**** posted in this forum.

    Liver tablets
    Zinc
    Vitamins
    Protein
    Fish oil

    Go on, try.

    - COMPLETELY UNRELATED -

And don't give me that Rocky and Ali and Louis didn't use them phooey.
Yeah, they didn't. And Rocky ran 15 miles a day and we wonder why he was a 190 pound heavy.
The oldtimers did things that weren't optimal. Today, we know what optimal is. Optimal isn't always liked, or agreed with, or whatever, but science is science!

    That is all.

You don't need them, but they can make a difference. I currently use:

    Multi vitamin / mineral.
    Whey protein.
Flaxseed oil and sunflower oil, or fish oil.
    Glucosamine / chondoitrin.

    Ralphc,

    Rocky didn't use the net.

You should not use it either.
