McCloskey is about to have a voluntary defence on his EBU -belt. Any news who´s going to be the opponent?

it'll be someone who went 12 rounds for a title back in 2004.

    Brunet Zamora - WBA No.3
    Ruslan Provodnikov - IBF No.14
    Willy Blain - WBO No.11

All ranked by the EBU as well. If McCloskey and his team are serious about fighting for a world title this year it will be against one of these 3, if not he and his fans need to shut up about world titles.

Hopefully someone decent that'll earn him a title shot for a proper belt. Hes ranked 4 by the WBC so hopefully he'll get a title shot this year. Or it would be nice if he took out that Brunet Zamora WBA guy as he would give Khan serious problems.

Paul seems to have problems getting fights as hardly anyone has heard of him as Frank Warren has never been his promoter/hype merchant.

he needs to prove he is above european class by dominating guiseppe lauri this time, last time he didn't look good!

good to paul fighting staying active he has been known to fight every 6 months which doesn't help because he is getting on a bit, wish he was fighting alusegan in the wbc eliminator instead of that ali chebah

I think he'll likely fight the winner of that Olusegon V Chebah fight at some point (he might have to fight an eliminator as well first)...he really needs to get a move on though. Hopefully if he gets a title shot in the meantime, I'm sure he'd happily **** off that sly ***** Lauri and vacate the EBU belt.

think mccloskey might get the winner of this chebah olusegun fight as if bradley wins
    the wbc belt goes vacant
the loser of the eliminator moves down the rankings ..morales is 3rd .think hes goin down to 135 to fight marquez so dat leaves olusegun/chebah v mccloskey for the vacant crown hopefully in the new year

I do not think a rematch with Lauri will come off, looking at the EBU rankings, it looks like Denis Shafikov
