Who could, if anyone, in the current HW scene, trouble Vitali?

Vitali is getting older. If he keeps fighting one day he'll be beaten by a lesser opponent .
He has nothing else to prove, retire and enjoy life.

Are the Klits so dominant because this is a weak era, or do they just MAKE their opponents look weak?

I agree with all of those except Povetkin. Vitali would school him. Povetkin might not even win a round.

    Wlad: No.

Better boxer, no doubt, and better resume, but not as good head-to-head, not as tough nor resilient if it went toe-to-toe, which it would.
Besides, he'll always have the psychological handicap of being the 'little' brother.

Vitali by mid rounds corner stoppage.

    Povetkin: No

Some day, maybe, when he's 'ready' and Vitali has reading glasses. Just not yet.

Vitali by stoppage, very similar to Vitali-Adamek.

    Haye: Maybe

If Davey Boy's toe stays healthy and he can run and pot-shot for 12, he could UD the bigger man. But I don't think he would. At least, like Povekin, not yet. Time is on his side here.

Vitali by close decision or late stoppage.

    Solis. No

He showed some spunk for 2/3 of a round but went down from a lightish tap to the temple. :yep

Seriously though, that might have been his peak performance. He's looked poor ever since.

Vitali by stoppage. Takes a little longer second time, but not much.

BTW, you forgot to mention TF. :think

Povetkin and current Solis would get a beating for 12 rounds

Wlad is out of current Vitali's league

Haye is a mystery- if he comes to fight and won't be afraid to get hit, then he poses a threat to Vitali

If you still think the current Vitali that looked horrible against Charr can even beat Wlad you should seriously log off.

Yeah, horrible is what you would have to call it.

Dominated the undefeated Charr in every round, scored a knockdown and then TKO in under 4.

    Horrible, indeed.

Vitali looked old and sluggish against a crude barfighter like Charr

Vitali was lucky to have the doctor step in just when he was running out of gas and Charr was increasing the pressure :tong

Vitali and Haye are a step up from the rest of the division, and Wlad is another step up from them at this point. Difficult to say how Haye v Vitali would go, depends if Haye really can hurt Vitali and keep him hurt.
